American global leader company dedicated to produce low-calorie sweeteners seeking for a IT Desktop Support Specialistto provide comprehensive service to users across our corporate office, distribution center, and remote locations.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in technical support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide support to non-technical users.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with ticket management and Help Desk tools (Manage Engine preferred).
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to users in corporate locations, distribution center", and remote locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, workstations, mobile devices, printers, servers, and network equipment.
Specify, install, and test computer systems and peripherals.
Ensure all equipment and systems are configured according to established guidelines.
Provide first-level attention to reported user issues.
Manage and follow up on open tickets in the Help Desk System (Manage Engine).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.
Update software and hardware as needed.
Document problems, solutions, and procedures.
Generate activity and performance reports.
