As a Process Engineer with experience in NPI you play a crucial role in the manufacturing of new products. You are responsible for leading the introduction of new products, defining the manufacturing process flow, labor costing, identifying necessary tooling and equipment, and ensuring the products meet customer requirements.

Our Team

The NPI team is responsible for a range of activities that are crucial to the successful introduction of new products such as pre production, project management, queality and risk management, as well as other parts of these processes.

What You Will Do

?

*Proven experience in managing project transfers, including the transition of processes, equipment, or products between teams or manufacturing sites.

* Serve as the point of contact between the manufacturing site and the different design centers to obtain information and follow-up on New products.

* Perform the analysis, design, costing and evaluation of tools, machinery and process required for prototype production until release to mass production.

* Coordinate and collaborate with the different areas (quality, design, maintenance, testing, manufacturing, planning) to meet the launch dates of new products

* Maintain documentation and records applicable to the function in compliance with the requirements of the organization's quality management system.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

?

* Minimum of 4 years of experince as a process engineer with experience in NPI

* Previous knowledge in Manufacturing and/or Process Engineering

* Fiber Optic Processes and technologies

* Coordination, execution, monitoring, and problem solving in projects.

* Skills to lead, quote, manage new projects and products,

* Experience in managing tooling design and layout programs

* Knowledge and application of international quality systems (ISO, TS).

* Experience in implementation of engineering changes and impact evaluation

* Experience in project transfers

* Validation of tooling and equipment in accordance with good manufacturing practices

* Carry out time and movement studies

* Optimization of processes

* Development and qualification of suppliers of tooling and equipment

* Production line support for new and transferred products

* Standard time calculations.

* Design and qualification of tooling

* Use and Knowledge of the Advanced Planning of the Quality of a Product. (APQP)

* Use and application of Core tools

* Preparation, development, and release of internal control documents (Visual Aids, Control Plan, FMEA)

* Knowledge of Poka-Yoke systems

* Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions (RAC, RDP, 8`D)

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5s

* Advanced English (conversational)

* SAP experience
