• STEAM

Responsibilities:

• Teaching steam, computer science and coding subjects
• Create, internalize, modify and prepare lesson plans in accordance with academic curriculum, working closely with the grade level team
• Use data to responsively teach to mastery of academic skills
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure all students meet the learning objectives
• Update student performance trackers and use data to help guide your lesson plans

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required
• Subject matter expertise
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience
• A collaborative attitude towards teaching and learning

Candidate should have a certification in Digital Literacy/Computer Science or business and possess the following skill sets: ~Strong problem solving skills~Experience with coding in but not limited to Scratch by MIT, App Inventor, HTML and Python. Ability to write in JavaScript and Java a plus~Must have strong skills in, Swift playgrounds, :R, :CSS, Html, Microsoft 365 including proficiency in Word, Excel and Access~Strong communication skills~Strong classroom management and safety practices~Ability to engage students from variety of backgrounds as active learners~Team player.
