Ensure that warehouse material management and flow operations are maintained in accordance with established policies. Manage material receipt, handling, warehouse control, inventory accuracy, deliveries to the production line, control of non-conforming materials, kit preparation, and shipments. This position oversees reporting personnel and is responsible for the accuracy, movements, safe handling, storage, and protection of people and products from inception to shipment.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for personnel safety and safety in material movements.
Provide production team support with the correct inventory quantities, location, condition, identification, and delivery time.
Establish goals for the team aligned with the strategy and evaluate their performance.
Develop all team members, with special emphasis on potential or high-performing leaders.
Continuously implement internal logistics improvements to ensure timely delivery of all materials to production areas, meeting internal customer requirements.
Define and manage optimal inventory levels. Maintain part attributes in the SAP system.
Assist with the disposition and monitoring of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Ensure inventory accuracy; monitor and control inventory adjustments and prepare monthly reports.
Execute the cycle count plan and prepare the inventory variation analysis for the monthly report.
Manage supplier consignment inventory programs. Act as the primary contact for these suppliers in the operation.
Ensure receipt procedures comply with financial interests and quality standards.
Manage and resolve product non-conformities upon receipt. This includes coordinating returns to the supplier, processing debit notes, and making inventory adjustments.
Resolve SAP inventory errors and incorrect movements. Perform root cause analysis.
Maintain records and documents of receipts and shipments in accordance with regulations and control policies.
Establish effective controls to ensure correct product handling and zero defects during maneuvers and/or movements.
Optimize space utilization in the plant, internal warehouse, and external warehouse.
Create inventory control processes to ensure improvements within the value chain.
Provide support to finance areas on any issues that arise.
Ensure that individual and team activities strengthen sustainability, reduce environmental impact, minimize waste, energy, and water consumption, and maximize recycling programs.
Support a culture of innovation by generating ideas to improve processes, methods, systems, or services.
Develop necessary reports for warehouse operations in the initial phase in conjunction with IT.
Provide support to other functions of the Supply Chain at BAC, Monterrey Plant, Global, and Amsted.
Required Experience:
Degree in Engineering or related field.
Advanced English.
5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, shipments, receipt, and personnel management.
Knowledge and Skills:
ERP/MRP.
Warehousing/Inventory management.
