Reporting to Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer works directly with production and management team to improve performance within a value stream. He/she must have industrial engineering background and the ability to build relationships, work directly with production teams, strong project management skills and very good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize LEAN methodology to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
Establish priorities and solve production issues with management and operating teams.
Continuously improve production with value stream managers.
Define, document, and update work instructions and standard work.
Conduct time studies, manage line balancing, and drive Kaizen events.
Oversee 5S audits and implement visual management tools.
Collaborate with maintenance and product development to enhance production efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Bilingual Spanish/English required
Process or project engineer experience in a labor-intensive manufacturing or assembly operation—preferably in custom manufacturing
Two years of experience in a LEAN assembly environment
Strong interpersonal and proven ability to build relationship with production workers
Computer proficiency (Cad, Visio, MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong project management skills
Hands-on, result-oriented and able to work with autonomy
