We are currently looking for a system Drafter Engineer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Participate in the weekly safety meeting

· Perform the weekly safety audit in order to detect and reduce the unsafe conditions and acts of the workplace.

· Comply with the internal regulations, policies and code of conduct of Human Resources.

· Troubleshoot product design related concerns in manufacturing and direct the corrective actions to address those concerns.

· Creates and updates 3D models, drawings, and related standards for the development of new products and/or maintenance of existing products.

· Reviews existing documentation to ensures the quality and the clarity of existing engineering documentation.

· Performs stack up and tolerance analysis to ensure design intentions are met and design for manufacturability principles are adhered to

· May work directly with suppliers to provide technical expertise to assist with questions and problem resolution

· Willing to continuously advance professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal goals etc.

· May travel domestically and internationally on occasion as needed

· Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Other engineering related duties as assigned by department manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of work experience using SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
• Experience with Best Drafting and Dimensioning practices including GD&T, and identification of Key Characteristics.
• Experience in HVAC/R, appliances, or automotive industries is preferred.
• English proficient
