Schneider, the premier provider of transportation and logistics services is looking for a highly driven Transportation Analyst to join our team!!
About the role:
Accountable for assigning all freight within their region and supporting carriers in meeting customer service commitments.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00
How you will do it?
- Assign freight while effectively balancing capacity
- Maximize utilization of SNI capacity. Help to reduce assets turn days and idle time in Mexico, in conjunction with Equipment Planner.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships through appropriate networking and strong communications.
- Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with carriers.
- Effectively execute and maintain all systems/processes used in the performance of duties.
- Maintain focus in daily activities to achieve safe and legal transit with 100% customers.
- Interface with various departments; i.e., IM Regional sales, MX Global group, claims, customer service global accounts, maintenance operations, safety, and outside vendors.
- Ensure orders are efficiently handled to avoid incremental costs, idle days, and communication and documentation requirements are met on time and in the most effective way to improve Customer Service and SNI Operational metrics.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships through appropriate networking and strong communications.
- Generate and provide daily shipment status reports to customers to comply with their needs.
- Responsible to monitor carrier performance constantly in order to know our OTP
- Support the team in USA for all the rail services in mexico.
- Effectively execute and maintain all systems/processes used in the performance of duties .
- Proactively seek for continuous improvement to streamline day to day processes, eliminate inefficiencies, ensure effective internal and external communications and eliminate losses and non-value added activities.
- Generate Customers Fulfillment Scorecards to track actual volumes Vs. commitments, and develop and execute action plans to improve fulfillment ratio in collaboration with sales team.
You'll be a great match if you:
- Have minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar roles in the automotive industry.
- English Fluency both written and verbal required
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, transportation, International business or related.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Attention to detail
- Customer service oriented
