Your Job:
As a Senior FEA Engineer at Molex, you will drive the design and optimization of cutting-edge datacom interconnect products. This role challenges you to deliver advanced finite element analysis (FEA) simulations that push the boundaries of product innovation and performance.

What You Will Do:
- Conduct and coordinate nonlinear structural FEA for high-speed interconnect systems using Hypermesh, Abaqus, or ANSYS tools.
- Communicate FEA results with product design engineers through clear written and verbal presentations.
- Provide design recommendations to improve product structural performance based on FEA results.
- Participate in the correlation of CAE simulations to real-world tests to enhance modeling methods.
- Develop and refine FEA techniques and modeling methods independently and collaboratively.
- Lead the development of new products, aligning with engineering management priorities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of experience with nonlinear implicit and explicit finite element analysis.
- 6+ years of experience with ABAQUS or ANSYS FEA Simulation Software.
- 2+ years of experience with parametric CAD systems (UG NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience with Altair (Hyperworks, Simlab) family products.
- 5+ years of experience in predicting nonlinear structural behavior on reinforced plastics and metals.
- Experience with explicit solver software, such as LS-DYNA or Abaqus Explicit.
- Familiarity with molding simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, Moldex-3D).
- Experience with Python scripting and CAE process automation tools (modeFrontier, Isight).
- Established records of innovation, such as patent ownership or technical paper authorship.
