Department Description: Is responsible for ERP System administration and support, EDI integrations, IT Infrastructure management, Incident management, administration of cloud systems – M365, MS Azure. This includes also management of backups and recovery, compliance and information security, vendor management, disaster recovery planning, server management, end-user support, IT asset management and access rights management1.

Purpose of the Position: This position is key for the functioning of IT operations and is responsible for multiple areas within the IT department ranging from end user support, asset management, network and server administration, and systems. They also handle information security tasks and communicate with vendors2.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software and other IT related issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Strongly collaborate with other IT team members as well as the stakeholders.
• Perform regular systems maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches.
• Manage, install, configure and maintain ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Ensure the security of ICT infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security measures.
• Provide training to end-users as needed.
• Communication with vendors.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Startup experience in automotive manufacturing
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a MUST
• Fluent English is a must (daily communication abroad Mexico).
• Strong experience with the Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Windows/Server, etc.) including cloud applications (MS Azure, M365, Exchange online, Sharepoint online, ADFS etc.).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Strong experience and skills in Information Security area.
• Relevant certifications (MCSA or MCSE)
• Some travelling may occur.
