Inspect safety measures in each processing step (e.g., ensuring a safe distance between the buffing wheel and the product end). Resolve technical issues on the production floor to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in process anomaly analysis, including equipment issues, and provide solutions (e.g., tool wear, machining deformation, fixture malfunctions, etc.).
Train production operators to ensure a correct understanding of process requirements (document training records).
Support and provide solutions for equipment maintenance and repairs.
Improve the manufacturing processes for parts (machining, polishing, assembly) to enhance production efficiency and process stability (Cpk).
Update and maintain process flow charts, work instructions (HME), and PFMEA.
Participate in internal and external customer complaints and product quality issue analysis, formulating corrective and preventive measures (Poka-yoke).
Work with quality engineers to monitor machining precision and optimize process parameters to enhance product consistency.
Assist in new product trials, track production issues, and propose improvement plans.
Analyze and optimize production cycles, reduce tool change times, eliminate unnecessary processes, and increase capacity.
Identify bottlenecks in the production process and propose improvement solutions (e.g., automation upgrades, process optimization, improved operator work methods).
Reduce manufacturing costs through material savings and minimizing quality-related scrap.
Optimize MRO material usage by identifying alternative materials and suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
+3 years of experience in process engineering in automotive company/ OEM , knowledge with punching ,milling, assembly process . IATF-16949
