The Sales Engineer's responsibility is to service existing house accounts by serving as a liaison between the customer and the plants. In addition, the Sales Engineer will assist in identifying and developing new customers, adjacent markets not currently or customarily supplied, and value-add opportunities that generally provide greater revenue and profit.
Fluent English (90%), five years effective industrial sales experience or equivalent, excellent presentation, organized, dynamic, adaptive, jobs by objectives, self-organization, knowledge of manufacturing concepts.
Some responsibilities:
. Review open orders to determine if customers have ordered at anticipated levels, deliveries are scheduled as required, and delivery systems are optimized to meet customers' expectations while allowing efficient, cost-effective operations for the plant.
. Handle customer complaints and or opportunities regarding quality, delivery, service, price, and product consolidations/outsourcing.
. As required to support local customers, develop new markets and customers, and facilitate projects and communications. Estimated travel is several days per week. Visa and Passport is required as some international travel will be needed.
