The OPERATIONS MANAGER is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics of importing and exporting goods. This role ensures compliance with legal requirements, manages transportation, driver's dispatch operations, and optimizes supply chain efficiencies to meet organizational goals.

Responsabilities:

• Manage and Supervise a group of driver's dispatchers as well as B1 drivers to assure daily operations run according to plan.
• Manage transportation scheduling and routing operations to maximize efficiency of our own fleet and B1 drivers
• Develop and implement logistics strategies for import and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with MEX-US-CAN law, international trade and customs documentation & requirements to operate.
• Collaborate with procurement & sales teams to streamline operations.
• Analyze transportation data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on market trends and trade regulations affecting import/export activities.
• Resolve transportation and logistics-related issues as they arise.
• Establish KPIs by driver/unit/dispatcher accross the network to drive improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Experience: +5 years on transportation, logistics, import/export management, driver's fleet and B1 operation. Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Fluent English is a most / Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact positively with drivers, customers, and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Multitasking Ability: Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong decision-making skills to address challenges as they arise.
