The role
For the Mexico Tax department, we are looking for a Jr. tax analyst working from our Mx City office. The position is for a one-year temporary project aimed at assisting the Tax Supervisor in Mexico
Activities
The activities include the preparation, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the below mentioned responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering documentation and any other relevant report for Tax Audits.
- Submit Income Tax and VAT returns, as well as any informative statements.
- Reconcile postings and any reports with the relevant general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate the collection of Intercompany contracts, monitor documentation and track any modifications made to each contract. Ensure compliance by managing necessary changes to intercompany billing.
- Resolve and present clarifications regarding invitations from the SAT.
- Develop manuals and guides for the preparation of provisional Income Tax, VAT, and withholdings payments.
- Prepare a summary table that streamlines documentation practices and ensures compliance with retention policies.
Background & qualifications
· Bachelor in Fiscal, Accountancy or similar.
· Minimum experience of 3 years working in a multinational company or an accounting firm (preferable the big four)
· Experience in Intercompany matters or Restructures is a plus.
· Excel, Intermediate.
· SAP knowledge (preferable).
· English, Intermediate.

The position is based in Mexico; flexible working (3 days at the office, 2 days at home/week).
