Industrial Engineer – San Luis Potosí, MX

Founded in 1989, SINBON is a leading provider of integrated design and production services for electronic components.

We are currently looking for a Industrial Engineer for our new site in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Job Objective:

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving production and operational processes within the company, aiming to optimize resources, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality across all processes. This role covers everything from system planning and design to process analysis and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial or a related Engineering field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Industrial Engineer.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency with industrial management tools and software (e.g., SAP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Excellent technical skills.
• Strong communication and understanding skills.
• Knowledge of process-related standards.
• Familiar with the wire assembly process.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Knowledge of the ISO9001 quality standards.
• Fluent in use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan the production line layout of the product according to the SOP process station.
• Configure the number of workers according to standard working hours, adjust the line balance rate, and calculate cycle time and production capacity.
• Improve the layout , confirm the standard working hours of each work station, allocate manpower, and improve the line balance rate.
• Conduct full-process man-hour measurement for products with poor efficiency and large quantities. Conduct action analysis on bottleneck processes to identify improvement points.
• Assist engineering units in measuring standard hours for new process codes.
• According to business needs, perform actual hour measurement and process improvement on products that need to reduce costs.
• Assist the manufacturing unit to confirm the standard working hours of each work station.
