Job Title: Data Modeler

Location: Monterrey, Guadalajara, CDMX or Queretaro (you must be living in one of these locations or open to relocate)

English: Advanced Level

Work Mode: Hybrid

What do you need for this challenge?

As a Data Modeler, you will work closely with Domain Working Groups, Data Stewards, Enterprise Architects, API and Microservice Architects, and Data Engineers to identify and capture business requirements in logical data models.

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced data models associated with the Data Architecture Practice.
• Involve in the Data Architecture for future state initiatives
• Gather and assess business and technical requirements to create/update Data Models with API connectivity for upcoming Digital Transformation.
• Use ERWIN Data Modeler and Lucidchart to create and maintain entity relationship diagrams.
• Use Stoplight to create and maintain API Specs and Component Libraries.
• Provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Identify solution design options, perform advanced data profiling, and provide subject matter expertise.

Required Knowledge:

API Development and Specs, Data Architecture, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology, Logical and Physical data modeling, Levels of Normalization, Abstraction and Generalization, Subtyping and Classification, Relational model design, Dimensional model design (Star Schemas, Snowflake designs), Data Profiling, Data security and protecting information, ETL processes, BI processes.

Bachelor's degree: Systems Engineer or related
