We in KEMET de México are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of YAGEO's global corporate data model and drive enterprise-wide data and analytics excellence. This role requires 5+ years of experience in data engineering projects, data base creation from zero, master data or master quality and expertise in BI governance and data engineering to standardize BI workflows, ensure data quality, and align with YAGEO's data strategy. Collaborating with IT and global teams, you'll foster a data-first culture and support the evolution of YAGEO's Data & Analytics ecosystem.

You will have the next responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach data analysts to enhance reporting efficiency, data pipeline automation and dashboard usability.
• Conduct complex data analyses, extracting insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive global strategic projects like data model design, master data, data quality in collaboration with BI and other groups.
• Translate business requirements into scalable dashboards, automated data tools and insightful reports.
• Promote best practices in data management and visualization to improve decision-making across the organization.

You may have the following qualifications and skills:

• B2 English level.
