POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst works cross-functionally with multiple departments throughout the organization to determine data availability, data needs, and data quality. This role aids the team in creating insights and data-driven solutions that enhance sales, operational efficiencies, and service levels. The analyst performs routine audits of master data, and works closely with IT partners in ensuring standardization and accuracy. The position is heavily involved in building and maintaining databases and data tables, to be used in reporting/dashboarding for our business partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
2. Configure data to meet and align with business needs.
3. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, or similar tools.
4. Drive standardization, harmonization, and automation of data throughout the business to ensure accountability to key metrics.
5. Convert large and complex datasets into actionable business insights.
6. ·roactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in data and deploy changes promptly.
7. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, leveraging data and scenario & sensitivity analysis (eg Monte Carlo Simulation) to improve accuracy in planning.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and supply chain, to optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Database Management & SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Data Visualization & BI Tools: Experience with Power BI or similar tools.
• Statistical Analysis & Forecasting: Ability to apply regression, time series analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• High level of digital literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficient in English (C1).
