?? Position Objective

The Financial Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the fintech's financial strategy, ensuring operational sustainability and efficiency. This role will act as a key partner to the CFO or CEO, contributing strategic insights for data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in Startup or ScaleUp environments, and be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial plans aligned with the company's growth and scalability objectives.
• Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial modeling.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and cost control.
• Analyze and report KPIs such as MRR, ARR, Burn Rate, CAC, and Customer Retention.
• Participate in fundraising rounds and manage investor relations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local authorities (e.g., CNBV, SAT, SHCP).
• Design credit policies and implement financial risk mitigation strategies.
• Implement BI tools and automate accounting and financial processes.
• Collaborate closely with technology, product, and operations teams.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Revenue growth vs. forecast.
• EBITDA margin and net income.
• Burn Rate and Financial Runway.
• Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Retention Rate.

• Response time to investors and stakeholders.

?? Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial roles, including 3 years in fintech or tech companies.
• Mandatory previous experience in a Startup or ScaleUp environment.
• Experience in fundraising or institutional financing.
• Proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
