At JLL Technologies, we are seeking an exceptional Full Stack Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java backend development and React frontend development. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative full-stack solutions that drive our real estate technology forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, while creating responsive and intuitive frontend applications with React.
• Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in both Java and React development, setting technical standards for the team.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion software engineering excellence across the full technology stack.
• Implement Test-Driven Development, practices, writing comprehensive unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend code.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical production issues across the entire stack and optimize application performance, focusing on both server-side efficiency and client-side responsiveness.
• Contribute to strategic technical decisions and participate in high-level planning for future product developments.
• Stay current with emerging trends in Java, React, and full-stack development, recommending and implementing new technologies as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on both Java backend and React frontend technologies.
• Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks, with a proven track record of building complex backend systems.
• Advanced proficiency in React, including state management libraries (Redux) and modern React patterns (hooks, context API).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with microservices architectures.
• Extensive experience with database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of web security principles and experience implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
• Expertise in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues across the full technology stack.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers and driving technical initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with server-side rendering for React applications.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queuing systems (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Scrum environments.
