Accounts payable Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Intern. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting, working closely with our accounts payable team to support the processing of invoices and management of payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing and recording vendor invoices in the accounting system.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure compliance with internal policies and agreed payment terms.
• Help reconcile accounts payable, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate in preparing vendor payments, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records of accounts payable transactions.
• Support the generation of monthly reports on the status of accounts payable.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries and clarifications about invoices and payments.
• Participate in special projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Active student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced English
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets and accounting software; experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Schedule and Work Arrangement:

• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7 am to 2 pm.
• Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work.
• Location: Oficinas en el Parque (Torres Moradas), Monterrey, N.L.
