Responsibilities:

• Fleet and driver productivity, ensuring all assets and drivers have sufficient miles to reach fleet and company revenue goals.

• Manage drivers and direct fleet management day-to-day operations including some aspects of driver pay depending on Fleet.

• Dispatch drivers to ensure on-time delivery given HOS, weather and road conditions.

• Coordinate with Load Planners, other Fleet Managers, and Service Advisors and other departments within CR England to maximize fleet profitability.

• Negotiate situations to meet expectations of customers, C.R. England, and C.R. England's professional Drivers.

• Identify logistical problems and implement solutions.

• Strategize and plan regarding future workload.

• Handle and resolve urgent situations in a professional and timely manner.

• Communicate any delays or service failures with CS team/Schedulers and Load Planners.

• Plan and provide for the safety and security of all drivers and fleet assets.

• Directly manage multiple drivers and fleet assets and coordinate/work with with other departments such as HR, Operations, and other Fleet Managers to maximize fleet productivity and profitability.

• Develop driver relationships to increase employee morale.

• Ensure that all drivers are knowledgeable of and adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of the Company.

Important:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat)

Ability to manage multiple operating systems

Ability with software systems
