SAP FICO JR , SR :

Job Objective:

Act as the subject matter expert in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial processes within SAP. Collaborate with finance, controlling, and cross-functional business units to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable solutions aligned with business goals and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP FICO solution design and configuration across sub-modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PA, and CO-PC.

Translate complex business requirements into SAP solutions, ensuring process efficiency and compliance with local/global regulations.

Provide hands-on configuration and support for financial closing, tax reporting, asset accounting, and controlling processes.

Guide integration of FICO with other modules (MM, SD, PP, PS) and third-party systems.

Support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure data integrity and consistency.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process automation and optimization opportunities using SAP best practices.

Act as the key contact for external/internal audits, ensuring system compliance.

Lead or participate in S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and rollout projects.

Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer across finance teams.

Stay updated on SAP innovations, legal changes, and best practices in financial systems.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Expert knowledge in SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PA, CO-PC.

Solid understanding of financial reporting, IFRS/local GAAP, tax requirements, and controlling structures.

Strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules and external financial tools.

Familiarity with Fiori apps, SAP BTP extensions, and financial workflows is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and business partnering skills.

Strategic and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects with minimal supervision.

Strong documentation, training, and mentoring abilities.
