We are currently looking for a "Process Engineer" for our new MX Site in San Luis Potosi. Located in LOGISTIK II.

Level: Graduated Engineer (Min 2 years experience required)

The Process Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation and operation of industrial processes, maintain and improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profit margin. The Process Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation and operation of industrial processes, maintain and improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profit margin.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

A. Product Development

• Evaluate and confirm the feasibility of new process design and equipment.
• New Product Introduction.
• Project Management (APQP)
• Product Transfer and Assembly lines.
• Risk Assessments
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

B. Production Management

• Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Developing and implementing systems and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Focus on the line cycle time balance while maintaining the output and quality.
• Develop best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of line performance, including cycle time reducing/equipment upgrading/fixture evolution.
• Supervision process performance quality testing and evaluation assessment.
• Ensures Housekeeping (6's) and assure Health, Safety & Environment Standards are maintained.
• ECN's.
• Lean Manufacturing (Preferred)

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE: Timeliness, efficiency, and effectiveness as it relates to all duties. Follow all applicable procedures and work instructions.

SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• BS degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic or a related field)
• Proven work experience as a Process Engineer (2-3 years)
• Excellent technical skills.
• Strong communication and understanding skills.
• Knowledge of process-related standards.
• Familiar with the wire assembly process.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Knowledge of the ISO9001 quality standards.
• Knowledge of IPC-620 & J-STD-001 (Preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish & English fluent.
• Fluent in use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• CAD o AutoCAD (Preferred)
