Job Objective

Direct the warehouse division and ensure the attainment of agreed targets in the area of responsibility according

to quality, cost, timing, service and cooperation (Q-C-T-S-C) as well as occupational safety and environmental

protection

Manage and optimize processes and plan the optimal use of human resources in the area of responsibility within

middle to complex plant operations

Duties and Responsibilities

?

A Warehouse management

1 Managing a warehouse, in particular ensuring availability of the parts stored there, as well as monitoring

and correcting stock levels (permanent inventory), arranging for identity tests if necessary

2 Checking the inspection of incoming goods for damage, completeness and correctness, as well as

informing the respective departments about differences and deviations; monitoring incoming goods

bookings and delivery note filing according to the applicable specifications

3 Guaranteeing material supplies to the in-plant production departments and other national and international

plants according to requirements, including the complete dispatch processing in the system, preparing the

necessary shipping documents, as well as the transport of finished goods and assemblies

4 Monitoring all warehouse-relevant processes, master data and warehouse types in the SAP system,

initiating measures to secure system availability

5 Arranging and monitoring maintenance and repair work on all movable assets and plant facilities within

the area of responsibility

6 Monitoring and optimizing how work is carried out and the working methods and processes used, assisting

in the planning and design of the respective working areas

7 Assisting in the preparation of the capital expenditure and cost center planning

8 Monitoring and carrying out measures to meet the target requirements

9 Processing transport damage according to specifications and processing logistics complaints

10 Controlling empties requirements within the plant and monitoring the correct collection and sorting of all

the waste accumulated in the area of responsibility

11 Carrying out and monitoring the planning and storage of hazardous goods in compliance with the legal

requirements

B Specialist tasks (planning, rationalization)

1 Implementing daily shop floor management systematics and providing instructions on the structured

problem-solving process and CIP

2 Managing quality methods for systematic problem solving

C Project Management

1 Management and project lead for complex logistics projects from technical and organizational perspective incl.

rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes

2 Defining, planning, coordinating and monitoring tasks within project teams by using defined methods and

systems

3 Preparing and further development of concepts for improving recording, analysis, modeling, presentation and

management of process-related data

4 Continuous monitoring of project success regarding time, budget and output quality and driving execution of

defined actions

5 Coaching and training of the project team and/or triggering additional trainings

6 Negotiating general logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers and customers (e.g. JIT/JIS processes,

turnaround periods, packaging)

D Leadership

1 Deploying employee corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and

supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks

2 Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks

3 Responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR ENGINEERING

ENGLISH INTERMEDIATE

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
