Accountant An educational company that offers the world's largest after-school learning program in math, English, and reading.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

· Work Experience 3-4 years of prior work experience.

· Analytical

· Communication

· Computer/Technical Advanced

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintaining fixed assets subledgers and depreciation schedules.

· Preparing and filing of sales & use tax and other business tax returns and reports.

· Verifying payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensuring payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.

· Maintaining the general ledger.

· Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.

· Assisting with initial internal control evaluations.

· Preparing and posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.

· Preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports for management. 9. Providing support to the Accounting Managers during the semi-annual and year-end financial audits.

· Assisting the Accounting Managers with any tax examinations conducted by federal, state or local government agencies.

· Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

· Assisting the Finance Department, other team members, and the Accounting Managers as needed.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.
