About our client:
Tricolor Auto Acceptance is an American company that finances, buys, and sells cars in the USA. Their main office is located in Dallas TX, although they have several locations in other parts of the country. Their business model offers service centers, lots, and stores. For seven years, Tricolor and Intugo have collaborated to develop operations such as customer experience, loan servicing, insurance, underwriting, marketing, human resources, and IT, among others.
About the role:
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing support services L1 and L2, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction. They investigate the reason behind the issues and troubleshoot the technical problems, and resolve the situation. Additionally, they analyze the problems and make a record of the issues addressed, including the relevant resolutions provided for them. They interact mainly with the employees, listen to their queries patiently, and then provide them with the relevant information to ensure they remain content. Some of the responsibilities of the position include:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
- Write training manuals.
- Train computer users.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
- Respond to email messages from employees/customers seeking help.
- Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem.
- Walk customer through problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Clean up computers.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
This is an on-site position in Tijuana City.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the IT field (preferred).
- English language proficiency (verbal and written).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support: software, hardware (PCs, servers, communication devices) and networks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows CMD, Windows 11, M365, Outlook, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, ITIL).
- Excellent customer service skills.
