Leading Company Seeks CNC Machining Group Team Leader
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, or a related field
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a similar position – 5 years with CNC equipment

Technical Knowledge:
- CNC programming knowledge (G-code, CAM software) and EDM setup
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles and tools (Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Knowledge of production planning and inventory management
- Understanding of machining processes and precision measurement techniques
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor CNC operators, fostering collaboration and accountability, while providing training to enhance skills and productivity.
- Program and set up EDM machines and other CNC equipment to manufacture components, ensuring specification compliance.
- Operate machines as needed and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Develop and manage production schedules to optimize machine use and meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain constant communication with other departments to prioritize work and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Kaizen, 5S, or value stream mapping to eliminate waste, reduce time, and improve processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.
- Supervise tool and material inventories, ensuring availability of cutting tools, accessories, and raw materials.
- Manage orders, storage, and allocation to minimize waste and prevent shortages, while keeping accurate records for audits.
- Ensure processes comply with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements through detailed documentation and quality controls.
- Conduct regular safety training to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate and work with engineering, quality, and supply teams to improve processes and resolve production challenges.
