Lead the implementation of the MES system and oversee its maintenance and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document manufacturing processes and procedures.
Develop project plans, and schedules for manufacturing projects.
Manage MES timelines and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project status reports, project plans, and project budgets.
Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
Provide training and support to end-users on the use of the MES system.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MES implementation and project management in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, including MES, ERP, and automation systems.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with SQL, Oracle, or other relational databases
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the design and implementation of shop floor systems is required.
Experience working with MES applications such as Nysus, Insequence, or IPC is strongly desired.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants
ERP (SAP or Mfg/Pro) systems experience
Extensive interactions with people, teams, and organizations
Good blend of people skills, technical/functional skills and knowledge
Excellent Multi-tasking skills to manage multiple priorities throughout the working day
Comfortable with situations that include ambiguity and complexity.
