International chemist leader company looks for Supply Chain Director.

Purpose of the position: of Develops plans to ensure the supply of the requested products in the most effective way possible, to meet market demands and maintain a high level of service, taking into account: inventory, quality, operational capacity and cost.

Functions and responsibilities:

1. Supports the Global S & OP at the site level. Analyze the net demand variations and capacity limitations by technology. Discuss the results with key shareholders, define recovery plans, facilitate decision processes.
2. Integrates demand, production and market quality capabilities, as well as the cost of development, according to Global functions. Plans and overviews the execution of the MPS of the site and ensure the optimum level of service.
3. Plans raw material requirements to meet company necessities as well as manages inventory level and site objectives. Communicates the needs of the site to the Procurement area and / or suppliers in a timely manner.
4. Ensures that the internal customer receive their deliveries on time, through the commitment process. Manages orders between companies, handle exceptions, serve as a mediator and direct conflict resolution.
5. Liasol of SC team and EHS and Occupational Health, the owner of the position is aware of, commits to and acts in accordance with the procedures and applicable standards.
6. Knowledge and execution of IMMEX certifications, for VAT recovery linked to supply chain operations, through agency.

Skills and requirements:

Education: Industrial Engineering, International Business, Administration, Chemistry or similar careers. Master's or MBA desirable

Experience: 5 years in similar position. only in the following industries: Pharma, Pharma-Chemical, Chemical, Petro-chemistry industry, Pure-Chemical industry (Quimica Fina), Active-Pharmaceutical Ingredients industry (API), Biotech industry

Capabilities: Good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Supply chain project management, Business strategy, APICS Certification (desirable).

Language: Advanced English (executive).
