MSE Engineers develop models for the Platform System (PSYS) and foundational Motion-related Features using corporate modeling techniques to ensure performance to spec.
MSE Engineer has a key role in Platform System development, ensuring a high-quality design that captures structure/architecture, requirements, behavior, and analysis.
Specific tasks/responsibilities:
Contribute to a cross-functional team by performing tasks that include:
Ensure Model-Based Design systems align with production launch objectives.
Interface with Platform System Engineers, Architects, Subject Matter Experts, other Modeling System Engineers, Core Feature Owners, and external development partners to communicate, coordinate, and curate the Platform System modeling process.
Ensure that the teams have the necessary tools, skills, training/support, and resources to deliver the Platform System and support new features.
Update/Curate Platform System MagicDraw Model to enable a large team of Functional Safety System Engineers and Platform System Engineers to work effectively.
Architect and curate Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) model content to support efficient FMA (FMEA, P-diagrams) for platform System.
Train and support engineers working on FMA in MagicDraw.
Contribute to Platform System Variant Management in MagicDraw, interfacing with Pure Variants.
Publish Platform Systems requirements into JAMA.
Publish Cameo Collaborator views of SysML models.
Update Platform System CAN/Ethernet Signals on the Interface Library.
Document and link Platform System Capabilities.
Skills Required for the Position Required:
Experience with SysML, UML, UPDM, or other system modeling languages.
Experience with system modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Rhapsody System, and/or Software editions.
Knowledge of vehicle component functions related to Braking, Propulsion, Steering.
Able to work flexibly across multiple disciplines.
Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
Strong internal motivation to learn and adapt.
Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees.
Fluent in English (Since the daily contact will be with people in the USA).
BS in Automotive/Mechanical/Electric/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in Agile project involvement
