Role Summary
Ensure the proper integration of the supply chain for a new project, transfer, or engineering change into internal operations. This involves validating activities such as materials, documentation, and system configuration to ensure project timing and delivery to the customer.
Main Tasks
- Coordinate, monitor, and ensure timely delivery to meet the requirements for each pre-series phase, including machines and tooling, samples and prototypes, raw materials, and packaging.
- Coordinate the shipment of prototypes for internal validations and ensure timely delivery for customer events.
- Ensure the supply and timely arrival of raw materials for pre-SOP events: IPT, R&R/MP1/PDR/2DP, PVT.
- Ensure compliance with and receipt of basic material planning requirements.
- Ensure the supply and logistics of returnable containers through the fleet calculator.
- Configure SAP MM and PP modules according to planning and scheduling policies and basics (Safety stock, MOQ, LT, PDT, PTF, Rounding Value, Incoterm, Lot size, Special Procurement).
- Plan, supervise the acquisition and arrival of raw materials from various suppliers, ensuring raw materials for SOP and series start-up.
- Ensure the integration of customer demand in SAP.
- Schedule production orders for finished products and WIP in SAP to meet demand and ramp-up requirements.
- Coordinate the necessary requirements for project delivery to the production and operational areas: Planning, Scheduling, Customer Service, and Production.
- Lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely completion of activities required for project objectives.
- Achieve organizational and departmental objectives.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained according to group policies (raw materials, finished goods, and WIP).
- Ensure on-time delivery scores for each project phase and avoid quality-related costs (premium freight).
- Track and ensure timely completion of each phase of project management.
- Develop strategies and action plans to meet organizational and departmental objectives.
- Develop technical and organizational competencies of the staff under your responsibility.
Your Profile
- Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
- 4 years in the automotive industry in a similar role.
- 2 years of experience with SAP MM and PP modules.
- Conversational English minimum B2
- Knowledge of MRP and ERP (SAP MM and PP modules)
- Familiarity with Customer Portals (Ford, Chrysler, GM)
- knowlage in matrerial planning
- Inventory Management
- Logistical Management of Transportation (knowledge of incoterms, importation & exportation, customs terms, etc)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of C-Project or similar project management software
- Understanding of Core tools (PPAP & APQP)
- Continuous Improvement Guidelines
- Quality Management Systems (MMS) and Quality Control
- Valid Visa
- Willingness to travel
