Descripción
Analyze data to forecast demand and support inventory management. This role will be responsible for identifying patterns in consumer behavior, sales performance, inventory levels, and production to improve forecast accuracy. The Demand planning analyst will be responsible for driving accurate demand requirements to the manufacturing plant across a global footprint. This role will collaborate with other teams, including Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales.
• Convert unconstrained demand plan into a feasible production schedule that is validated against capacities.
• Ability to leverage strong MS Excel/Power BI skills to highlight areas of focus that will drive process improvements.
• Ensure that material and capacity are planned correctly
• Manage and monitor KPIs at network level, including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy, Bias and Inventory
• Develop and manage a standardized approach to root cause analysis of top errors across the network, ensure subsequent forecast corrections are documented and validated appropriately.
A key success driver to this role is the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple functions, in order to drive improvements across our end-to-end Supply Chain and serve our customers efficiently.
• Review data at a SKU level to evaluate and adjust forecast based on historical trends, assumptions, and collaborative input.
• Identifying opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and take actions, manage and maintain statistical forecast software data.
• Analysis of historical trends to generate forecasts in each monthly cycle.
• Collect and review sales forecasts on a regular basis, identifying trends on fast & slow-moving products.
Lead Global intercompany demand process and meetings to review and assess production risks, shortages, capacity constraints, and support any escalation to upper management.
• Continuous Improvement- Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes.
• Assist with creation and improvement of current SIOP tools to align with IBP processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
• Advanced capabilities in Excel
• Experience as a demand planner or SIOP Analyst
• Fully bilingual
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced capabilities in Power BI
• Proficiency in SAP
• Proficiency in Demantra or similar statistical forecast software
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or sourcing
