A well-established company in the logistics and transportation industry is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize fleet operations. Key Responsabilities

· Identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth through transportation services.

· Oversee daily transportation operations, including route planning, fleet management, and driver supervision.

· Develop and implement cost-effective transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses.

Ensure compliance with DOT, CTPAT, and other regulatory standards.

· Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

· Train and lead a team of drivers, dispatchers, and logistics coordinators, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

· Develop processes to help attract and hire CDL drivers, ensuring they receive competitive benefits according the industry.

· Evaluate market trends and service demands to determine competitive per-mile rates.

· Analyze and control transportation budgets, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Sales, or related field (preferred).

· 3-5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management, with a strong background in sales and business development.

· Proven ability to generate revenue, close deals, and expand client portfolios.

· Strong knowledge of transportation laws, DOT regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges.
