Ingredion is hiring a Intern for Payroll based out of the GDL location. This role will be reporting to the Senior Analyst Payroll and collaborate within a dynamic, team oriented environment. This role execute payroll transactions for US & Canada business, ensuring transactions are accurate and properly stated. Participate in the month end and year end closing process as required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Reconcile payroll bank accounts according to JE provided and payroll funding
• Improve current process for payroll journal entries, change incorrect mapping and process in cadency
• Calculate and prepare payroll accruals for days not accounted in payroll runs
• Attend COEs questions related to payroll and analyze trending data at month end.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Be studying to get Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Foreign language skills at a medium level in English required.
• Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite Software Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
