The extrusion engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing extrusion processes used in manufacturing various products, typically plastics or metals. They work to ensure efficient and high-quality production by setting up and operating extrusion equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Development: Designing and optimizing extrusion processes to meet specific product requirements.
• Equipment Setup and Operation: Ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance of extrusion equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to the extrusion process, materials, or equipment.
• Process Improvement: Implementing changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing process data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
• Collaboration: Working with other engineers, operators, and technicians to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree: in a relevant engineering field (e.g., chemical, mechanical, materials, polymer engineering).
• Experience: Practical experience in extrusion processes, ideally through internships or entry-level positions.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of extrusion equipment, materials, and process parameters.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
