Position Summary:
The Pricing- Marketing analyst Provides assistance to a wide variety of marketing and data managemente projects and processes (Pricing strategy, Competition analysis, market research, data analysis)
Functional Contribution:
• Track industry-wide initiatives and announcements that are strategically important to Watlow.
• Assist with maintaining market size and segmentation data for all of Watlow's primary markets.
• Assist with providing market data in support of planning activities.
• Assist with maintaining a searchable and sortable database of industry-wide topics of strategic importance. Must be data mining friendly for use by global sales channel and marketing personnel.
• Assist with Integration of industry wide topics database with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for use by global sales channel.
• Learn, support and improve global operating system for market research..
• Assist with the support of a web-based competitive information repository that can be dynamically updated by all customer-facing personnel such that the competitive landscape is current and well characterized.
• Integrate standard reporting into the monthly marketing operating system. Work closely with BUs, product managers and BU leaders to develop countermeasures to competitive threats.
• Support a market intelligence system that facilitates information capture regarding emerging global market needs.
• Assist with identification and research of emerging markets and applications as growth opportunitiesfo r Watlow.
• Assist with developing and maintaining effective business relationships with key customers, external emerging market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide variety of Watlow team members in marketing, sales, engineering, Executive Team, etc.
Skills required:
• Working knowledge of market research methods and techniques for business-to-business
environments. Hands on experience with market research databases and analytical tools.
• Solid analysis, strategic thinking, and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences, team members and external customers and industry experts.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirement:
Bachelor´s degree in Business or IT Engineering (preferably specilized in Data management)
Fluent in English (written and conversation)
Experience with Oracle would be a plus.
