A Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing pricing strategies in line with both Coyote network needs and customer satisfaction. A Pricing Analyst assists our customer teams by processing requests for quotes (RFQs) by analyzing lane history analyzing market trends and making recommendations to facilitate optimal pricing. Pricing Analysts are regional specialists and are assigned to work within specific customer group(s). Pricing Analysts must have a keen awareness of economic factors that can influence the industry, as well as an eye for identifying opportunities to optimize profitability through price strategy.

Essential Functions

This is a progression for the Pricing Analyst role and includes/is subject to the essential functions represented in previous level I.

• Own region based on IB destination and price all bids and ad hoc requests into that region.
• Continue development of relationships with internal customer and coverage counterparts.
• Escalate pricing requests that fall outside set departmental guidelines to pricing management for assistance and guidance.

Use forecasting and strategic planning to ensure accurate pricing.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience:

• Extensive industry and/or pricing knowledge 
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field
• Advanced english level
• Ability to problem solve, analyze data, and meet strict deadlines
• Strong multi-tasking and communications skills
• Understand market trends
• Proficient in Excel
• RFQ management experience preferred
