About HealthTree: HealthTree is on a mission to revolutionize blood cancer research through innovative data solutions. Our Data Layer Team is at the forefront of this mission, building the platform that drives impactful research and patient care improvements.

Position Overview: As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in our Data Layer Team, contributing 75% of your efforts to backend development and 25% to frontend development. You will work on building and optimizing our entire data pipeline, including EHR integrations, data quality tools, harmonization processes, derived variables algorithms, data entry systems, traceability mechanisms, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using NodeJS within a Google Cloud serverless environment.
• Implement and enhance data integration solutions, ensuring seamless EHR integrations.
• Design and build tools for data quality assurance and harmonization.
• Develop algorithms for derived variables and ensure their accurate implementation.
• Create user-friendly data entry systems and maintain traceability of data changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of the data pipeline to support ongoing and future research initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and experience working in a Google Cloud serverless environment.
• Strong understanding of data integration, quality, and harmonization processes.
• Ability to develop complex algorithms for derived variables.
• Experience with frontend technologies and frameworks.
• Passion for coding and working with data.
• Strong interest in the healthcare space and a desire to contribute to meaningful research.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR, OMOP, SNOMED, and LOINC.
