The company is currently seeking a motivated and bilingual Patient Recruiter with experience in patient engagement and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes. Ideal candidates will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a talent for connecting with people and guiding them through clinical trials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participant Identification and Engagement: Utilize various channels such as social media, community events, medical clinics, and patient databases to identify and engage potential study participants.
- Recruitment Strategy Development: Collaborate with the study team and sponsors to develop and implement effective patient recruitment plans for multiple clinical trials.
- Eligibility Screening: Apply pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria to screen potential participants and assess their eligibility for specific clinical trials.
- Participant Education: Clearly and compassionately explain the study's objectives, procedures, potential risks, and benefits to potential participants.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, track progress, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with study participants, providing ongoing support and addressing any questions or concerns that arise during the recruitment process.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical research team to ensure a smooth transition from the recruitment phase to study participation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in patient recruitment to enhance recruitment strategies and outcomes.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required to support the recruitment process and overall study success.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or any field related to Social Sciences/Health.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
- Reasoning Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet software.
- Supervisory Experience (desirable): Experience in management, with the ability to be positive and professional in staff interactions.

Schedule:
- 5 days per week from 10:00 am to 18:30 PST (availability to work Saturdays or Sundays), 2 days off per week.
