The Chinese-Spanish Translator provides translation services for documents, meetings, and on-site communications at the production base in Mexico. This role ensures accurate communication between Chinese and Spanish-speaking teams, supporting the production of bearing cages and die casting components. The translator facilitates collaboration and understanding across language barriers.
Key Responsibilities
Document Translation
Translate technical documents, manuals, and reports between Chinese and Spanish.
Ensure translations are precise and retain the original meaning.
Meeting Interpretation
Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
Facilitate communication between Chinese and Spanish-speaking participants.
On-Site Communication Support
Assist with communication between production teams and management.
Translate instructions, guidelines, and feedback for clarity.
Cultural Mediation
Bridge cultural differences to promote effective collaboration.
Provide insights into cultural nuances to prevent misunderstandings.
Work Collaboration Relationships
Internal: Production, Engineering, Quality, and Administration departments.
External: Suppliers, customers, and partners.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or above (Translation, Linguistics, or related fields preferred).
Work Experience:
Same Position: 2+ years.
Same Industry: 1+ years (manufacturing experience preferred).
Professional Certification: Certifications in translation or interpretation (preferred).
Language:
Chinese (Mandatory).
Spanish (Mandatory).
English (Preferred).
Professional Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of technical and manufacturing terminology.
Familiarity with bearing cage and die casting production processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and Spanish.
Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
