Production Manager

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of production, equipment, supplies, storage, logistics, planning, and safety at the manufacturing facility in Mexico. This role ensures efficient production processes, on-time delivery of high-quality bearing cages and die-cast components, and compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. Responsibilities include production planning, layout design, material management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Management

• Develop material, production, procurement, and logistics plans based on order requirements.
• Organize personnel and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

1. Logistics & Warehouse Management

• Plan and manage internal and external logistics to support production needs.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory inflows and outflows.

1. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards in all production processes.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to implement and maintain quality management systems.

1. Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

1. Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor production teams, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training to develop team skills.

IV. Work Relationships

• Internal: Procurement, Quality, Equipment, and Logistics departments.
• External: Suppliers, logistics providers, and regulatory authorities.

V. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field).
• Experience:
• 5+ years in a similar role.
• 3+ years in automotive or manufacturing (preferred).
• Certifications: IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 knowledge (preferred).
• Languages: Spanish (required), English (preferred).
• Technical Knowledge:
• Production planning, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Die-casting and bearing cage manufacturing processes.
• Skills:
• Leadership, organization, problem-solving, and production management software proficiency.
• Personal Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
