Job Title: Ecommerce Key Account Manager
Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Hybrid)
About the Role:
This person will be responsible for driving the channel's commercial growth, managing our day-to-day operations within a Marketplace, and coordinating closely with the external agency responsible for execution.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial, marketing, and operational strategy and requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Account, Relationship Management
- Own and nurture the relationship with a Marketplace as a strategic partner.
- Be the primary point of contact to stay aligned on category trends, platform changes, strategic focus, and commercial moments.
- Identify opportunities for visibility, exclusive launches, and key moments such as Hot Sale, Prime Day, etc.
Business Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute brand strategies and joint business plans aligned with Marketplace's priorities and brand goals.
- Analyze business performance regularly: track KPIs, uncover insights, and optimize accordingly.
- Drive forecasting accuracy, budget tracking, and target achievement.
Coordination with Operator / Agency
- Manage and align closely with the operational partner (agency or 3P) in charge of executing brand activations and catalog updates.
- Ensure flawless implementation of product launches, promotional plans, and content updates.
Brand Activation & Content Strategy
- Work hand-in-hand with brand teams to activate campaigns, including promotional moments, brand stores, sponsored ads, and A+ content.
- Ensure brand equity and guidelines are maintained on the platform.
- Support the development of hero product visibility and routine-based storytelling.
Innovation & Omnichannel Thinking
- Proactively bring platform-specific ideas that drive conversion, traffic, and new customer recruitment.
- Collaborate with internal teams (media, CRM, supply, marketing) to align full-funnel execution.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce account management, ideally in beauty, FMCG, or consumer goods.
- Deep understanding of Amazon/MELI Seller/Vendor Central, digital shelf principles, and platform dynamics.
- Proven success in managing external partners/agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into action.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, strategic, and agile in adapting to fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.

- Understanding of retail media, SEO for eRetail, and product content best practices
