SUPPLY AND CHAIN MANAGER

LOCATION: Mexico City

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, International Relations, or a related field (with verifiable credentials).
• Extensive knowledge in domestic and international purchasing.
• Advanced English.
• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in a similar position.
• Experience managing work teams.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• Monthly salary of $50,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine supplier selection criteria, ensuring they meet the organization's expectations.
• Maintain direct contact with strategic suppliers for the organization.
• Establish and implement strategies to create mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate competitive purchase conditions with suppliers.
• Provide periodic follow-up to ensure the correct and timely delivery of products by suppliers.
• Verify the monthly purchasing and importation budget.
• Coordinate activities to update the price and supplier list on a monthly basis.
• Monitor costing activities and authorize special products.
• Coordinate actions to ensure the timely supply of goods and services to the requesting departments and subsidiaries, in accordance with established standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Coordinate and follow up on product purchases for subsidiaries.
• Authorize letters of credit for the payment of imported purchases.
• Approve codes for new products.
• Follow up on the production and delivery of special products.
• Support the commercial area to ensure that deliveries are complete and on time.
• Authorize invoices and letters of credit for supplier payments.
• Supervise conditions and contracts with maintenance and general services providers.
• Coordinate the acquisition of specific and distribution vehicles.
• Participate in negotiations for the acquisition of machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate activities for evaluating and re-evaluating suppliers that directly affect product quality.
• Verify exchange rates for international purchasing.
