Acting as an Intern in our Internal Sales Engineering Division in Ruhrpumpen you will receive training about products, processes and tools and may be involved in the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Study the ISO coating standard, observe the actual coating process at the plant, and discuss with painters the considerations for the quoting stage.
• Calculation of coating prices for different product lines.
• Preparing product line tables with size and price for different systems, in the format required by the software implementation team to be available on the quoting system.
• Quote and update coating prices with vendors.
• Support inside sales engineers in quoting activities, extracting information from datasheets, filling formats, and gathering some information from vendors.
• Helping a team leader on the development of tools, training material, etc, for regional or global use.
• Learn and help to use our Online tool to select, configure, and cost a pumping solution.
• Quote major buyouts (as Motors, Diesel Engines, VFDs, Mech seals, reducers, etc) and work together with their vendors to speed up quotes.
• Review and interpretation of customer specifications as well as international standards.
• Fill project datasheets and provide support on updating vendor contact details.
• Help develop a buyout database, from all our references, for quick reference for budget 1 quotes.
• Review the specification and identify key elements to be considered in quotes.

Job's requirements:

• Willing to work on-site in San Pedro.
• Availability to work from 30 to 40 hours a week (Flexible shifts)
• Fluent English
• Active College student in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
• Graduation date December 2025, preferably.
