As an Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing and administration of employee benefits programs. This dual-focused role requires expertise in payroll compliance, benefits management, and a strong ability to provide exceptional support to employees
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing timesheets, calculating wages, and processing adjustments such as bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors promptly. Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and other perks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, enrollment, and claims resolution.
- Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment, including employee communication and system updates. •
- Maintain relationships with benefits vendors and carriers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality service. Compliance and Reporting,
- stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare and submit required reports, including payroll tax filings and benefits utilization data.
- Assist with audits related to payroll, benefits, and compliance. Employee Support and Communication:
- Conduct new hire onboarding sessions to explain payroll and benefits options.
Minimum requirements

Minimum requirements:
- Studies: bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, business, or a related field
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, Paychex, Workday) and advanced MS Excel skills. Preference is Paycom experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll and benefits laws and regulations, including FLSA, FICA, COBRA, ACA, and ERISA. Familiarity with retirement plan administration and wellness programs. Work Environment
- Language: Good English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m, to 5:000 p.m. , following the American Calendar.
- Contract: Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
- Location: Remote Mexico.
- Salary: 32,000 MXM
