- As a SW you will be focused on SEO as a means to grow our user base
- Perform some improvements to our email marketing and transactional marketing campaigns.
- Improve our logic for how Google crawls our site
- Add new search page types
- Execute general improvements to our pages by adding, updating, or removing content.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with RoR
- Experience with building and scaling web applications and services.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including agile methodologies, software design patterns, and continuous delivery.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, or other front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud technologies is a plus.
Must haves:
- Ruby on Rails
- HTML/CSS
- Understand of SQL databases and modeling
- Git / github experience
- Past use of software dev tools such as JIRA (we use linear)
