Descripción
We are looking for an empathetic and organized Clinical Service Representative to join a great team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, helping them feel supported and informed throughout their experience. Your tasks will include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and efficient office workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, make reminder calls, and send/respond to text messages.
- Collect co-pays, estimate service costs, and handle past-due balances.
- Verify and update patient records, including demographics and insurance info.
- Send required forms/documents to patients prior to their visit.
- Complete tasks in the Case Dashboard and Clinical Inbox on time.
- Assist with scheduling tasks and other assigned projects.
- Follow front office protocols to maintain smooth operations.
- Help schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient satisfaction and provider needs.
- Address patient concerns, provide explanations, and ease any anxieties about procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Respond calmly to emergencies and help patients in distress.
- Maintain regular attendance and report to work as scheduled.
- Communicate with the Scheduling Manager and Lead Scheduler to optimize workflows and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Bilingual ENG-SPA is a must.
- Must be comfortable with computers and familiar with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and basic web navigation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to solve problems with a focus on quality and patient care.
- Self-motivated with good judgment.
- Experience with EMR (Athena, Encore, Airview) is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.
