Title of Position: Logistics & Planning Manager

Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout their organization. They organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations, also responsible of ensuring that all materials and goods required for production go into the right place exactly when they should.

Responsibilities:

Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

Liaising and negotiating with suppliers

Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

Keep track of quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs

Supervise, coach and train warehouse team

Meet cost, productivity, and timeliness targets

Maintain metrics and analyze data to performance of suppliers and implement improvements.

Resolve any arising problems or complaints

Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products

Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

To organize production according to demand and quality standards

Ensure the goods will be produced on time for distribution

Schedule shift according to production needs

Following the jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget

Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager

Record of distribution and logistics management

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Proven experience as production planner

Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)

Experience:

5 years at least in a similar position preferable in the sector of tannery, leather finishing, cutting and postcutting, for automotive.
