Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize logistics operations while minimizing costs and improving service levels.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (SAP).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams to success.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in logistics and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the logistics operations for the manufacturing plant, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance, ensuring on-time delivery and minimizing costs.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and timely execution of orders.
• Monitor and manage transportation, storage, and warehousing, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective services.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting of inventory levels to meet production needs and customer demand.
• Continuously analyze logistics processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage logistics budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Handle any logistics-related issues or escalations in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
