The Specialist, Trade Promotion position is responsible for all aspects of claim validation. The primary responsibility of this role is to validate claims within established accuracy and quantity parameters by analyzing promotion performance data supplied by retailers using internal software tools. This also requires effective internal communications (both written and verbal), research, analytical thinking and effective time management skills.
Primary Accountabilities:
Validates movement data against promotion guidelines and expected results for payment.
Logs claims/invoices into the system.
Provides customer service to retailer and manufacturer customers.
Pulls and collects retailer ads.
Required qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
At least 2 years of experience.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the technology. Beginning to connect relevant contexts to the rules and facts they are learning.
Able to select rules or perspectives appropriate to the situation, taking responsibility for approach.
Thorough knowledge and competence in using the technology derived from training and practice. Experience making situational discriminations that enables recognition of problems and best approaches for solving problems. At this stage, intuitive reactions replace reasoned responses.
Able to see what needs to be achieved and how to achieve it. Ability to make morem refined and subtle discriminations than a proficient performer, tailoring approach and method to each situation based on this level of skill.
